Relay Distances and Options!
Below is a list of the “suggested” relay distances and relay stations. This event will be chipped timed but is not designed as a competitive event against other participants. Feel free to make your own relay spots on the route! If relay team members want to run multiple sections of the long courses or shorter versions that is totally an option. It’s your adventure. You can choose it and challenge yourself the best way you feel fit. This course is long, hilly, hot and hard. It’s also gorgeous and an awesome challenge! So enjoy it your way!

MMR #1 - Here we go! Heading out from the Bad Idea Barn you will head down the gorgeous but dusty gravel Roby Farm Road. In our opinion, one of the best gravel roads in the county. 3.1 miles of country bliss! Oh wait! It’s an out and back. Make it 6.2. The first relay station is right back at the beginning! MMR #2 - This might be one of the easiest and fastest stretches of the day! Pavement! What?! The whole way! Head down the endless hill on W. Hwy Bb/3rd Street and into the town of Rocheport. Turn right at the "T” in the road and head up Hwy 240. Take a left on 440 and the Relay Station will be right there! Click here for Relay Station #2 location

MMR #3 - Ready Player 3! You might want to warm up before you get started because that is one hell of a hill to get started on! You got this! Get it!!! Once your reach the top its beautiful rolling country hills. Check out the amazing historic Sulphur Springs Church and enjoy the adventure! There is a road side park at the Davisdale Conservation area for the official Relay Station. Click here for Relay Station #3 location

MMR #4 - More back gravel roads to explore! You are not out of this yet! Take a right at the t-intersection at 467. This road won’t last long so keep an eye out for 448. Stay on this for about 2.5 miles and then stay left on 448. Look for the left turn arrow on 441 which will take you down the hill. Once you reach the Katy Trail take a right and head towards Franklin. The relay station awaits at the New Franklin Trailhead. BATHROOM AVAILABLE. Click here for Relay Station #4 location

MMR #5 - How about a jog into Boonville?! We love this pure Americana midwest town! Check out this power tour through a great section of town and meet up with your team at Derailed Coffee Shop (great food and drinks available while you wait)! Click here for Relay Station #5

MMR #6 - This is pretty much just a shorter version of Relay 5. Katy Trail back to New Franklin Trailhead. BATHROOM AVAILABLE. Click here for Relay Station #6 location

MMR #7 - If running on the Katy Trail is your jam then this stretch might be for you. Beware though as this is a hot open stretch of trail! Run past the old Pearson Grain Mill landmark and keep on running! Your team is waiting for you at the 2nd entrance to the Davisdale Conservation area. You got this! Keep those legs moving! Click here for Relay Station #7 location

MMR #8 - Nice and easy! Who ever gets this gems of a leg will get to run through one of the coolest landmarks on the Katy Trail. The old Rocheport Trail Tunnel through the cliff! There is a bathroom at the Rocheport Trailhead if you need it! We should probably warn you about the hill. Oh yes. This one is a doozie. Bragging rights if you survive. Serious. Meet up with your team back at the relay station near the start and finish! Click here for Relay Station #8 location

MMR #9 - TEAM MEMBERS UNITE! Park your vehicle across the street or park in the Stompn Grounds and meet your friends on the outside of the gate. Although you see the finish area, you are not there yet! ANY REMAINING TEAM MEMBERS STILL STANDING can run back around on Roby Farm Road and run past the church on the left. Turn left on Lewis Ave and follow the arrows to the back door adventure to the finish line. Hopefully, you are made it this far! If so… Congrats! You survived!
